Gary Andrew Durnan

Gary Andrew Durnan, 56, of Summerville, SC, beloved husband of Cindy V. Durnan, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at his residence.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 12, 2023 from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted, or donations in Gary’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Gary was born April 1, 1967 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was a son of the late Oliver Ross Durnan and Margaret Way Durnan. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs and Steelers fan and had a love for British crime shows. Gary was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he cherished the moments spent with them.

In addition to his wife, Cindy of Summerville, SC, Gary leaves behind his daughters, Marissa (Robbie) of Scotland and Kylie (Mike) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Aniyah and Zamir; brothers, Paul (Terri), Wayne (Sandy), and Steve (Coleen) all of Canada; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Joyce of Canada; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Ross and Marg; and mother-in-law, Lynda Verner.
