Gary Wodark Obituary

Gary Lee Wodark, 48, of Summerville, SC, husband of Heather Mae Snay Wodark, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 at Roper Hospital.

Funeral Services will be Thursday evening, August 5, 2021 at 5 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4 o’clock in the parlor until the time of service. Burial will be private in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to Covenant Life Church of Summerville, PO Box 1205, Summerville, SC 29484.

Gary was born in Midlothian, IL, a son of the late Donald and Barbara Wodark. He honorably served in the United States Air Force for over 22 years, and worked as the Single Point of Contact for Ground Support Equipment for Boeing. Gary loved everything Disney, enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife Heather Wodark of Summerville, SC, Gary leaves behind his son, Stephen Wodark of Hurlburt Field, FL; his daughter, Victoria “Tori” Chambers of Summerville, SC; his brother, Adam Wodark of San Tan Valley, AZ; and his four month old granddaughter, Shelby Mae. He was predeceased by his parents.
