Glenna McLeod Basnight

Glenna McLeod Basnight, 60, wife of Joseph Basnight, Jr., of Goose Creek, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022.

The relatives and friends of Glenna Basnight are invited to attend her Graveside Funeral Service at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Glenna was born in Charleston, SC on April 30, 1962. She was the daughter of Lt. Col. Louis H. McLeod and Anne Knight McLeod. She loved her family, had a good heart, and always went out of her way to help others. Her son, and best friend, recalls a lot of his friends calling her “Mom.”

She is survived by her husband, Joseph T. Basnight, Jr.; her sons, Corey M. and Blaine L. Basnight, as well as 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
