Gloria Jean Muckelvaney

Gloria Jean Muckelvaney, 79, of Ridgeville passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 1 o’clock at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church, 268 Eagle Drive Ridgeville, SC 29472. The family will receive friends for a visitation an hour before the time of service. Burial will follow at Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, 269 Eagle Drive Ridgeville, SC 29472.

Gloria was born on July 19, 1946, to the late Lonnie and Ida Muckenfuss. She found great joy in gardening and cherished every moment spent with her family. A devoted follower of Christ, Gloria had a deep love for the Lord and was dedicated to her church community.

Gloria is survived by her son, Ted Muckelvaney (Dana) of St. George, SC; daughters, Jessie Washington of Ridgeville, SC, Lisa Creel (Toby) of Cottageville, SC; brothers, Ronnie Muckenfuss (Connie) of Ridgeville, SC, Timothy Muckenfuss of Ridgeville, SC; sister, Loretta Buzzle (Louis) of Summerville, SC; along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband, Wilson Muckelvaney; sisters, Rosalee Hales, Susan Muckelvaney, Lurine Muckelvaney; brother, Oscar Muckenfuss; granddaughter, Tenille Russell; and great-grandson, Connor Harris.
