Harold Claudis Driggers

Harold Claudis Driggers, Jr., 86, of Summerville, SC, husband of Grace Grooms Driggers, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Summerville Community Hospice House.

Funeral Services will be Thursday afternoon, April 4, 2024 at 1 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the chapel from 11 o’clock until the time of service. Flowers will be accepted.

Harold was born July 11, 1937 in Summerville, SC, a son of the late Harold C. Driggers, Sr. and Victoria Driggers. He honorably served in the National Guard before joining the United States Air Force in SAC Communications. He worked as an engineer for the SC Highway Department, conducted weekly Bible Studies, and was a Mason. Harold also coached little league baseball at Doty and Parks fields. He was very much loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Harold leaves behind his wife of nearly 66 years, Grace Grooms Driggers; four children, Jana Milner (John), Paula Hogreff, Harold Driggers III (Carmen), and Kevin Driggers (Amy); brother, Billy Driggers (Shelby); sister, Peggy Myers (Freddy); six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by three brothers, Jerry Driggers, Floyd Driggers, and Johnny Driggers; and a sister, Rose Ellen.
