Harold Lee Norfolk

Harold Lee Norfolk, 88,of Summerville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025. 

Harold was born on April 14, 1936, in Upper Marlboro, MD.  He was passionate about his faith and his love for God.  He devoted so much time praying for everyone that he knew.  He loved his family and his church family.  In his earlier years; he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid lover of puzzles, particularly those with 2000+pieces.  After becoming a grandfather, one of his greatest joys was watching his grandchildren play sports-he was their biggest fan.  Harold had a deep love for his pets and a passion for Jeeps, especially rebuilding them. He treasured his faith in Jesus, the fellowship of his church and the simple pleasure of enjoying an ice-cold Coca-Cola where he was employed for 29 years. 

Harold is survived by his wife, Sandra Norfolk of Summerville, SC; son, Ashley Norfolk (Christie) of Greenville, SC; step-daughters, Kathy Watts of Summerville, SC, English Wilson of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Easton Norfolk, Ryder Norfolk, Jonny Watts, Brook Watts, Madison Watts, Chandler Parker; great-grandchildren, Ellis Quiat, and J.D. Watts. He is predeceased by his mother, Loretta Brooks; daughter, Sharron Norfolk, step-son, Michael Marsengill; sister, Beverley Ann Garcia; brother, Larry Norfolk.

Though he is no longer with us, Harold’s faith, love, and joyful, and at times his stubbornness spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. 

In his honor there will be a memorial gathering at Brookhaven Fellowship, 285 Temple Road, Ridgeville SC 29472 on Saturday, March 15th at 4PM.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brookhaven Fellowship.
