Harold Ely Schor, 80, of Summerville, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 30, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday July 7, 2022 at 6 o'clock at Adams Athletic & Social Club (1210 Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick, NJ 08902).Memorials can be made in honor of Harold Schor to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, Operation Homefront, or Beth Israel Congregation (401 Scott St, Beaufort, SC 29902).

Harold was born on March 16, 1942 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is the son of the late Jack and Rose Friedberg-Schor. Harold was an avid fisherman but loved all sports. He especially loved attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. Most importantly, Harold loved being with his family; they were the light of his life and meant everything to him.

Harold is survived by his wife of many years, Joann Burns Schor of Summerville, SC; son, David Schor (Susan) of Milford, PA; daughters, Marie Schor-Rutishauser (Reg) of New Windsor, NY, Elena Quinn (Scott) of Milford, PA, Colleen Wierzbicki (Tracey) of Florida, NY; grandchildren, Michael Schor (Katharine), Dan Schor, Bryan Schor, Rob Hamilton, Ryan Quinn, Connor Quinn, McKenna Quinn, Taylor Wierzbicki, Sarah Wierzbicki, Andrew Wierzbicki; great-grandchildren, Sloan Schor, and Jordan Schor; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, William Schor; sisters, Joyce Sharp, Sally Nesland; parents, Rose and Jack Schor, Anthony Quagliata.
