Helen S. Barrett, 98, of Summerville passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026.
Helen was born on December 22, 1927, in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, to the late James Sidor and Nellie Popka. She loved reading and playing cards. Helen also enjoyed visiting casinos and dining at buffets. One thing about Helen—if she wasn't at home, you could almost always find her at Walmart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. Berger (Ed) of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Donnie Barrett of NC, Mike Barrett of NC, Celeana Wood of SC; great-grandchildren, Peyton Wood of SC, Matthew Barrett of NC; and daughter in law, Julia Barrett of NC. She is predeceased by her loving husband, John R. Barrett; and son, John R. Barrett.
