Helen Louise (Green) Teems

Helen Louise Green Teems, 81, passed away on  Tuesday, August 31, 2021, after a brief illness.

The relatives and friends of Helen “Louise” Teems are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at the graveside, Cummings Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the graveside. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Cummings Chapel, P.O. Box 351, Ridgeville, SC 29472.

Helen was born in Summerville, South Carolina on March 29, 1940. She was the daughter of the late Harold G. Green, Sr. and Marcel Daniels Green. She was a member of the Harleyville-Ridgeville High School class of 1958 and was employed by Western Auto Store in Summerville for 28 years. Following her work at Western Auto she went to work for Millie Lewis Model & Talent as a booking agent for 32 years, working until her recent illness.

Louise is survived by her son, David Teems (Pam); grandchildren, Laura Solomon and Cody Teems (Stephanie); twin great granddaughters, Lane and Reed Solomon; brothers, Marion Green (Suzanne), Suzanne was special to Louise, as she was a daughter, sister-in-law and her best friend, Miles Green (Kathy), Tony Green (Susan) and Timothy Green; sisters, Judy Davis and Diane Herndon (Franklin); sister-in-law, Joyce Green and Aunt and Uncle Larry and Delores Troxel. She also leaves behind a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Glen Green and Sammie Green; sister-in-law, Cee Cee Green, as well as her long-time companion, Wayne Mullins.
