Howard Tillman Johnson

Howard Tillman Johnson, 65, husband of Sally Baugh Johnson, of Ladson, passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023.

The relatives and friends of Howard Johnson are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the graveside, Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 S. Live Oak Drive, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday evening, August 25, 2023, at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers are accepted or memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Shriner’s Hospitals for Children.

Howard was born in Summerville, South Carolina, on July 15, 1958. He was the son of Cleveland and Pansy Johnson. He was retired from Republic services and was a deacon at Lydia Baptist Church, where he and Sally were members for 43 years.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sally B. Johnson; children, William “Mike” Baugh (Jessica) and Shellie Branch (Chris); grandchildren, Christopher, Taylor, Tyler, Morgan, Haylee, Reagan and Abagail; great grandchildren, Hayzleigh Grace and Paxton Issaih; grand dogs, Freckles and S’mores and bonus sons, Bobo “Bat Dog” and Gator. Howard is preceded in death by his parents.
