Jack Peyton Lightner, 23, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Tuesday afternoon, June 8, 2021 in Summerville Cemetery at 3 o’clock. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the family, c/o Parks Funeral Home.

Jack was born October 29, 1997. He loved fishing, camping, grilling, and spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his mother, Elizabeth L. Lightner; brothers, Eric H. Lightner, Shane A. Lightner, and Cane E. Lightner, all of Denham Springs, LA; sister, Courtney N. Lightner of St. Francisville, LA; grandmother, Myrtle R. Lee of Meadville, MS; nephew, Mason Keith of St. Francisville, LA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, John H. Lightner.
