James Dale Bragg Jr.

James Dale Bragg Jr., 70, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022 after a short battle with an illness.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow at Summerville Cemetery.

Dale was born on June 3, 1952 in Florence, Sc. He was the quarterback on the 1969 Summerville High School State Football Championship Team. Dale was also a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at The University of South Carolina.

Dale is survived by his brothers; Vic Blackmon of Texas, Scott Bragg of Summerville; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joan and James Dale Bragg Sr.; two brothers, Charles ‘Sput” Bragg and Michael Bragg.
