James Bruce Obituary
James Lester Bruce, 84, of Ladson, SC passed away Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025 at his residence.
There will be no services at this time but memorials in his name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
James was born April 20, 1941 in Milford, NY. He made a career in pipeline maintenance and was a member of the American Welding Association. He loved history, woodworking, cars, and racing.
James leaves behind his son, James D. Bruce of St. Petersburg, FL; daughter, Lorilynn Bruce Figueroa of Ladson, SC; brother, Richard Bruce of Oneonta, NY; and two grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Marie M. Bruce; two brothers, Howard P. Jones II and Robert Bruce; and his parents, Robert J. Bruce and Dorothy Grimes Bruce, formerly of Worchester, NY.
