James Mitchell Davidson

James Mitchell Davidson, 64, of Ridgeville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

Funeral Services will be Friday morning, October 29, 2021 at 11 o’clock in Givhans Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member. Burial will follow in Muckenfuss Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 o’clock until the time of service at the church. Flowers will be accepted.

Mitchell was born January 13, 1957 in Dorchester County, SC, a son of James Davidson and Rosalee Hales Muckenfuss. He loved hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Natchez Kusso tribe.

Mitchell is survived by his granddaughters, Selena Davidson, Jasmine Thompson, Windy Moore, Sherdan Muckenfuss, and Rayven Muckenfuss; brother, Marshall Muckenfuss of Ridgeville; sisters, Linda Scott (Daniel) of Ridgeville, and Charlene Creel (John G.) of Cottageville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his daughter, Tabatha Davidson Moore; stepfather, Charles A. Hales, Jr.; brother, Charles A. Hales III; grandparents, Lonnie and Ida Muckenfuss; uncle, Oscar Muckenfuss; nephew, Phillip Tracy; niece, Kylie Hales; and nephew, Gabe Hales.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to his niece, Chelsea, for always helping out.
