James "Trois" Allen Turner III

James “Trois” Allen Turner, 52, of Summerville passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 2 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. The family will receive friends the night before, Monday, September 19, 2022 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. James was born on December 9, 1969 in Charleston, SC, and is the son of Hugh Mosley and Cherie Petit. James was a big musician in his local area, and loved performing any chance he got too. He enjoyed making art whether that was showing his inspirations through music or actually drawing. He also was a big Cubs baseball fan, and enjoyed watching pro wrestling. 

James is survived by his wife, Joanna Lee of  Summerville, SC; mother, Cherie Petit of Huger, SC; son, Liam Turner of Marietta, GA; daughters, Ruby Turner of St. George, SC, Brooke Burbage-Bachelor (Zachary) of Summerville, SC; step-son, Chris Singley (Stephanie) of Goose Creek, SC; sisters, Heather Turner of Summerville, SC, Jennifer Deguzman (Doug) of Huger, SC; uncles, Brian Petit (Patty) of Mount Pleasant, SC, Parker Petit (Janet) of Atlanta, GA, James P. Petit, Jr. (Vivian) of Cocoa Beach, FL; nephews, Brian, John, Jeff,  and Ian; nieces; Theo, and Brandy; grandchildren, Weslee and Corban. He is predeceased by his father, Hugh Mosley; grandfather, Dr. James A. Turner, Sr (Joyce); uncles, Kenny Petit, Johnny Petit (Angel), and James Percival Petit; former wife, Melissa Turner.
