Janet Chavis Pellum

Janet Chavis Pellum, 72, of Summerville, SC, widow of the late Sidney Timothy Pellum, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Summerville Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be Saturday afternoon, March 20, 2021 at 4 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3 o’clock until the time of service in the parlor. Flowers will be accepted.

Janet was born May 25, 1948 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late Hammond Groverlee Chavis and Eula Mae Russell Chavis. She was a homemaker and loved puzzles, camping, bingo, and slots.

Janet leaves behind her son, Shambra Pellum of Summerville, SC; daughters, Eula Mae Dyson of Summerville, SC, Samantha Pellum of Summerville, SC, and Serena Pellum of Moncks Corner, SC; brother, Henry Chavis; sister, Betty Jo Stuart; grandchildren, Kathy, Nicole, Rebecca, Hayley, Lucas, Ashley, Emily, Barry, Cody, Pheobe, Esrne, and Charlotte; and great-grandchildren, Ty, Gavan, Lilly, Bryce, Jay, Eli, Carni, BW, Riley, Alexis, Vanessa, Heidi, Kadyn, Gabe, Colton, and Addy.
