Janet O. Penton, 70, of Ladson, SC, wife of John Penton, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at her home.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2 pm in the Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers will be accepted.
Janet was born August 6, 1954, in SC, the daughter of the late Ogden and Mary Haynes. She loved spending time with family and watching her favorite soap operas every day.
In addition to her husband, John Penton, she leaves behind her son, Daniel Penton (Judy) of Moncks Corner, SC; and her sisters, Diane Stringer (James) of Summerville, SC, Nancy Strickland (Terry) of Hollywood, SC, Brenda Wickline of Cross, SC, and Sandy Trivett (Billy) of Summerville, SC: 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Ogden and Mary Haynes.
