Janice Wall Kuykendall, 90, of Summerville, SC, widow of the late David Dair Kuykendall, passed into life eternal on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
Graveside Services will be Tuesday morning, April 9, 2024 at 11 o'clock in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
Janice was born August 26, 1933 in Green Creek, NC, the daughter of the late Paul Elford Wall and Ila Giles Wall. She resided in Summerville for 50 years, was a member of Summerville Baptist Church, and was very proud to call Summerville home. She was a loving spouse, parent, grandparent, and friend. Her greatest passion was definitely her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking, canning, and ceramics. She was a sports enthusiast as well. She was the captain of her high school basketball team and enjoyed bowling and playing tennis in her younger years. She loved following the Atlanta Braves and North Carolina college basketball and also enjoyed playing dominoes with friends every Friday night.
Janice's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever inspire us. She is survived by her three children, Sherry Hinerman (Philip), Dianne King (Jerry), and David Kuykendall (Donna). She is survived by three grandchildren, Brian King, Rachel Peters (Michael), and Tyler Kuykendall.
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Psalm 73:26
