Jenny Hunt Brown, 40, of Summerville, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Jenny Brown are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 3:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.

Jenny was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on August 23, 1981. She was the daughter of John Hunt and Judy Delk Hunt. Jenny attended Clemson University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees and was a proud Tiger football fan. She had a heart for helping others and worked for several years assisting the homeless population in Wilmington, North Carolina. In October of 2020, Jenny moved home to Charleston, SC to help take care of her mother, Judy, who was diagnosed with ALS in June of 2020. She was the single mother of Chloe Elizabeth Brown, a beautiful, loving 15-year-old. Everyone who knew her knew how much Jenny loved her baby girl. Jenny found happiness through her love for Chloe, her love for her family, and her love for music. Throughout her short life, Jenny was blessed with many opportunities to travel the world and experience the beauty of God's creation. Her family believes she is now fully connected with that beauty and has found peace and serenity through the hands of God.

Jenny is survived by her parents, John and Judy Hunt of Summerville, SC; her daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Brown of Summerville, SC; her brother, Jeremy J. Hunt (Julia) of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Joyanna Hunt Clark (Robert) of Spartanburg, SC; her aunts, Lily Seel (Jimmy) of Kings Bay, GA and Brenda Cook (Bob) of Raleigh, NC and her uncle Terry Delk (Karen) of Summerville, SC. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard A. Hunt, Sylvia R. Hunt, Jack A. Delk, and Becky S. Delk.
