Jerry Stimson Obituary

Jerry Stimson, 67, of Summerville, SC, husband of Linda Gail Burns Stimson, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2020.

Services will be private.

Jerry was born July 20, 1952 in Summerville, SC, the son of the late Claude C. “Buddy” Stimson and Norma Lucille Goshorn Stimson. He was a retired Trades Specialist with the Coastal Center and a retired shipfitter with the Charleston Naval Shipyard. He loved music and playing the guitar and spending time with friends.

In addition to his loving wife of 20 years, Linda, of Summerville, SC, Jerry leaves behind three sons, Claude Alan Stimson, Christopher Walker Stimson, and William Scott Stimson, all of Goose Creek, SC; stepdaughter, Stacey Martin of Harrisburg, NC; sister, Bonnie Olsen of Summerville, SC; and three grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Connie Stevens.

Jerry was a good man with a kind heart and always had a smile on his face. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
