John Glenn Dailey of Summerville, SC passed away on March 22, 2022 after fighting a two year battle with cancer.
John was born April 2, 1965 at Travis AFB, CA to John P. and Carol J. Dailey of Summerville.
John is survived by his wife, best friend and love of his life, Julie Todd Dailey, their three sons, John Davis, Connor Thomas, and Grayson Todd, and their “daughter” Gabrielle Lindy Mayes. He is also survived by his mother, sister Valarie L., and brother Matthew R. Dailey, Matt’s wife Melissa, many loved family members, and countless friends. John was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Robert D. “Bob” Dailey.
John was a master jeweler who most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed music, movies, classic cars, boating, fishing, and cooking for loved ones. He was a fun-loving, kind, caring, and generous man with a quick smile and a strong shoulder that he welcomed people to lean on. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 9 at 2:00 pm with visitation starting at 1:00 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st N. St., Summerville, SC. The family will reassemble later for a private interment at Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
