John Henry Reeves, Jr.

John Henry "Pete" Reeves, Jr., 70, of Ridgeville, SC, passed away Saturday, February 1. 2025.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, February 6, 2025 from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to any charity or organization of your choice.

Pete was born January 30, 1955 in Summerville, SC, a son of the late John Henry Reeves and Janie Driggers Reeves. He worked in carpentry and construction and loved bass fishing and hunting. He cherished his time spent with his grandson, Dillon, and playing guitar in his band.

Pete leaves behind his daughter, Ashley Huggins (Christopher) of Summerville, SC; grandson, Dillon Hanna; former wife, Donna Reeves of Ridgeville, SC; brothers, Wayne “Stilts” Reeves and Wyly “Poncho” Reeves, both of Adams Run, SC; sisters, Edith Rudd (William), Joyce Grooms, and Johnnie Lee Rowe, all of Adams Run, SC; and multiple nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by two sisters, Evelyn Reeves Rast (Cecil) and Gloria Reeves Clark; and a number of nieces and nephews.
