John C. Steverson

John C. Steverson, 59, of Summerville, SC, loving husband of 41 years to Debra Martin Steverson, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 2 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family via check, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App by using the number 843-324-1685 for all.

John was born August 12, 1965 in Summerville, SC, a son of the late Clyde H. Steverson and Janett Carter Steverson. He owned DJ’s Landscape Design and Maintenance and worked for various companies in Route Sales in the food industry. He made a career in plumbing and owned his own plumbing business, John Steverson LLC. John loved fishing, being on the boat, and camping. He also enjoyed racing and golf, and cherished his time spent with family. He even owned several race cars and raced on Summerville Speedway. John was the most amazing and honest man, loved his family dearly, and “always needed a vacation.” He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

In addition to his adored wife, Debra, of Summerville, SC, John leaves behind his daughter, Kristen Miniea and husband Jesse of Ladson, SC; stepson, Brian Yohe of KS; brother, James Lee Steverson and wife Carol of St. Stephen, SC; and five grandchildren, Leah Miniea, Tyler Miniea, Kalyb Yohe, Alyssa Yohe, and Mason Dufour. He is predeceased by his parents, Clyde and Janett Steverson and a brother, Howard Steverson.
