Joyce Lee (Bell) Godin

Joyce Lee Godin, 79, wife of Norman R. Godin, of Summerville, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Joyce Godin are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12 noon, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the graveside, Summerville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Thursday at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Flowers will be accepted.

Joyce was born in Summerville, South Carolina on April 23, 1942. She was the daughter of Joshua and Wilhelmenia Bell. She loved her dolls and ceramics.

She is survived by her husband, Norman R. Godin; her daughter, Theresa Black; her brothers, Harold Bell, James Bell and Carl Bell; her sisters, Mary Roberts, Bessie, Dorothy Bailey and Elizabeth Huffman; her grandchildren, Mitchell Godin, Timothy Godin, Brandon Godin and Madie Godin and her great grand grandchildren, Jackson Payne, Rayline Payne and Ellie Godin. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Norman T. Godin; her brothers, Charles Bell and Arnold Bell and her sister, Judy Nichols.
