Julius "Buzzy" Dudley Bowen

Julius Dudley Bowen, 86, of Charleston, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2025.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Summerville Cemetery, 642 Boonehill Road Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, April 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483.

Julius was born on August 13, 1938, in Summerville, SC, to the late James and Evelyn Bowen. He Loved spending time with his family and he was an avid baseball fan.

Julius is survived by his loving wife, Patricia “Pat” Bowen of Charleston, SC; and his son, Julius “Jay” Bowen (Angie) of Charleston, SC. Granddaughter Kelsey Bowen of Charleston, SC, and Michael Finn of Charleston, SC. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Evelyn Bowen, and his daughter, Melissa “Lisa” Bowen.

Julius will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
