Karen Ann Huffman

Karen “Kay” Ann Huffman, 67, of Summerville, SC, loving wife of Vertice “Bubba” H. Huffman, Jr., passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her home.

A Visitation will be Monday evening, March 3, 2025 from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Graveside Services and burial will be Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12 noon in Lebanon Church Cemetery in Estill, SC. Flowers will be accepted.

Kay was born August 10, 1957 in Little Rock, AR, the daughter of Cecil Murdaugh and the late Maxey Smoak. She loved God, all animals, chocolate, and playing the piano. Her other hobbies include floating in the river, reading, drawing, socializing with everyone she met while waitressing, and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Vertice “Bubba” Huffman, Jr., she leaves behind her father, Cecil Murdaugh and his wife Edna; and her son, Jacob Huffman, all of Summerville, SC. She is predeceased by her mother, Maxey Smoak; and brothers, Michael Murdaugh and Patrick Murdaugh.
