Katherine Browning McGlon

Katherine Browning McGlon, 78, wife of the late Louis J. McGlon, of Summerville, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her residence.

The relatives and friends of Katherine McGlon are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the graveside, Beaufort National Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or a donation in her name to American Cancer Society.

Katherine was born in Charleston, South Carolina on September 21, 1945. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Josephine Browning. She worked in retail for many years at Hamrick’s. She enjoyed reading, completing her crossword puzzles, watching her westerns, and spending time with her family. Above all else she really loved her grandchildren and children.

Katherine is survived by her sons, William (Billy) Osborn and his wife, Jan, of Summerville, SC; and James Osborn III and his wife, Kristi of Bluffton, SC; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Osborn, Will Osborn and Wyatt Osborn; brother, Lloyd Browning of Summerville, SC and nephews, Edward Browning and Mark Browning. She was predeceased by her father, Lloyd Browning; mother, Josephine G.B. White, and brothers, Gerald Browning and James Browning.
