Kathy Hayes Obituary
Kathy Irene Hayes, 65, of Cottageville, SC passed away on Friday December 1, 2023.
Kathy was born in Georgia on September 18, 1958. She was the daughter of Eddy York and Mary Ann Coleman. She spent her whole life caring for the needs of others, from being a school bus driver, medical care transport service, restaurant manager and late-night bartender. Most of all she was a loving mother and dedicated wife. Her life was lived in service to others, being raised on a farm striving to the end to return that farm around her.
Kathy leaves behind her father and two sons James Cook and John-Michael Baresciano, and brother Tommy York and all of her adopted children and family. She is predeceased by her mother, her dedicated husband John E. Hayes and several people she tried to help along the way.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday afternoon, December 9, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Parks Funeral Home Chapel.
