Kayla Ellise Beczynski

Kayla Ellise Beczynski, 30, of Summerville, SC passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at her residence.

Memorial Services will be Friday afternoon, April 18, 2025 at 2 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of planting a tree or sending flowers, donations in Kayla’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family is also accepting rose bushes to plant in her memory.

Kay was born April 24, 1994 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Phillip E. Beczynski and Carrie Anne Rhymar. She loved reading and listening to audio books, was an avid reality television fan, and looked forward every Saturday to her country music countdown. She watched Shark Week religiously every year and had the best shoe and handbag collection. Over all, she cherished her time spent with her family.

Kay leaves behind her mother, Carrie Anne Rhymer of Summerville, SC; father, Phillip Edward Beczynski, Jr. of West Ashley, SC; aunt, Kirsty Jean Stock (Curtis); cousin and goddaughter, Wren Trainer Stock; uncle, Robert Christian Hewitt (Jordan); cousins, Bruce Elliott Hewitt, Callie Marie Hewitt, and Daphne Jane Hewitt; aunt, Nicole Ann Beczynski; cousin, Hailee Rebecca Getsinger; and grandparents, Anne T. Hewitt of Summerville, SC and Marcia Ann Berczynski of West Ashley, SC. She is predeceased by her grandfathers, Kevin William Murray and Phillip Edward Beczynski; and step-grandfather, Bruce Elmer Hewitt.

Her smile and light will be missed by all that knew her.
