Kelly Morgan Byrd

Kelly Morgan Byrd, 42, of Summerville, SC passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday morning, June 27, 2018 at Bethany United Methodist Church at 11 o'clock. Burial will be in Summerville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church Wednesday from 10 o'clock until time of service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Trident Area Agency on Aging, 4450 Leeds Place West, Suite B, North Charleston, SC 29405. If you wish, the family requests that everyone wear something pink, Kelly's favorite color.

Kelly was born October 29, 1975 in Summerville, SC to Joanne and Tom Clemons and Parker and Natalya Morgan. She graduated from Summerville High School in 1994 and the College of Charleston in 1998. She loved telling everyone that she attended Flowertown Elementary as a student and after college, taught second grade there for 18 years. She called all her students "my babies" and her passion for children was unmeasurable. She was a loving mother of three, teacher of many, friend to bunches and follower of the Lord.

Her children, Grayson Myers, Gibson Myers and Bennett Byrd were the biggest joys of her life. Survivors also include her husband, Brian Byrd; her parents, Joanne and Tom Clemons, Parker and Natalya Morgan; two brothers, Dale Brewer (Tracey), Jeff Morgan (Terry); and two sisters, Charlotte Morgan, Vicki Morgan. Kelly was predeceased by her grandparents, Inez and Luder Nix, N. D. Brewer, Ginny Brewer, Opal Bolen, Samuel Parker Morgan, James and Elizabeth Clemons.
