Kristen Marie Karns, 52, of Summerville passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 2 o’clock at Knightsville Methodist Church, 1505 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483. In honor of Kristen, memorials can be made to Dorchester Paws, 136 4 Paws Lane, Summerville, SC 29483.
Kristen was born on January 27, 1972 in Oakland, CA. She was known to enjoy the simple things in life. Kristen loved watching South Carolina Gamecocks football, reading, JCL, and Sculpture in the South. She had a huge love for animals, and spent a lot of time at local shelters where she ended up rescuing many animals. Kristen will be missed dearly by many.
Kristen is survived by her parents, Larry and Barbara Karns; sons, Cole Wyatt Cornette (Emily), Graydon Robert Cornette; brother, Jeff Karns (Carrie).
