Krystal Dawn Kantala

Krystal Dawn Kantala, 39, of Colleton, SC, wife of Daniel Kantala, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 11 o’clock until 1 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Friends and family will reassemble for Graveside Services at 1:30 PM in Summerville Cemetery. Flowers are accepted, or memorials in Krystal’s name may be made to the National Heart Association by visiting www.heart.org.

Krystal was born September 12, 1981 in Greenwood, SC, a daughter of Michael Patrick Sloan and Dorothy Carolyn Driggers Sloan. Krystal loved fishing, crabbing, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Daniel Kantala of Cottageville, SC, Krystal leaves behind her parents, Michael and Dorothy Sloan, also of Cottageville, SC; her son, Daniel Kantala, II of Summerville, SC; daughter, Savannaha Sloan (Jim) and their son, Brantliegh Sloan, all of Cottageville, SC; brother, Kevin Sloan (Tarissa) of Summerville, SC; sister, Tiffany Tucker (Andrew) of Islandton, SC; nephews, Kevin Sloan, Jr. and Hunter Tucker; and nieces, Adrianna, Alexianna, and Hannah.
