Linda Kaye Wilhoit Salisbury Rouvet, 63, of Summerville, SC, daughter of Juanita B. Wilhoit-Ackerman and the late Max E. Wilhoit of Paris, Illinois, passed away on March 8, 2018.
Graveside Services will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 13, 2018 at 2 o’clock at Carolina Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 until 7 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jenkins Orphanage, 3923 Azalea Drive, N. Charleston, SC 29405.
Linda was born October 12, 1954 in Charleston, SC. She graduated from Summerville High School before earning a degree in Graphic Arts from Trident Technical College. She previously worked in real estate and for the Holiday Inn Corporation. She was proud of her involvement with Jenkins Orphanage, and enjoyed a special relationship with Charleston blacksmith, Phillip Simmons. Linda was previously married to Steven Rouvet and the late Burt Salisbury.
Linda is survived by her mother, her brother, Gene Wilhoit (Jackie) of Hilton Head Island, SC; her sister, Patricia Neal Lueken of Louisville, KY; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her son, Steven Rand Rouvet and brother, Kenneth B. Wilhoit.
