Lindsay Jean Yekel

Lindsay Jean Yekel, 40, of Summerville passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Lindsay was born July 21, 1981, in Scottsbluff, NE. She was the daughter of Ron and Diane Yekel. She was an incredible, smart and fun person, she loved to read and spend time with her family. Lindsay could genuinely make you laugh like no one else. She always knew the right thing to say at just the right time. She always worked her hardest to provide for her kids that she loved dearly. She was so adored by everyone who knew her, and was the spirt that would always light up the room. Lindsay will never be forgotten, her memory will live on through her family.

Lindsay is survived by her father, Ronald Yekel of Summerville, SC; mother, Diane Yekel of Summerville, SC; son, Tyler Yekel of Summerville, SC; daughters, Haley Yekel of Summerville, SC, Leilani Banaag of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Zach Childers of Morrill, NE; grandmother, Mary Brown of Mitchell, NE, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her grandfather’s Harvey Yekel and Carl Brown; grandmother, Jean Yekel, and aunt, Melody Brown.
