Link Richmond Rodriguez, 9, of Summerville, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday evening, May 17, 2022, at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Link was born in Fairfax, Virginia, on February 7, 2013. He was the much beloved son of Marisa and Jeff Rodriguez. Link was a second-grade student at Trinity Classical Academy in Summerville, SC where he had found a second home among the kind staff and caring student body. From an early age Link had an immediate impact on the people that he met. He was always curious, outgoing, and friendly. He had a personality that people seemed to instantly let down their guard for and allow him into their personal space. He loved video games, especially with Mario and Kirby, and he loved being around other kids. Link never said goodbye, he would say “when will you come back to play?” He was imaginative and playful, innocently forthright, warm and loving, inclusive but free spirited. He adored babies, and always made sure younger kids were included to play. But he loved his family the most, and they love him – more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow.

Link is survived by his parents, Marisa and Jeff; his older brothers, Jackson and Campbell; his older sister Evangeline, and his younger sister Lorelei.
