Louis Jefferson McGlon, 72, of Summerville, SC, husband of Katherine Josephine Browning McGlon, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

Graveside Services will be Thursday afternoon, November 18, 2021 at 2 o’clock in Beaufort National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be made to a charity of your choice.

Louis was born March 17, 1949 in Duval County in Florida, the son of the late Shirley Auston McGlon and Lillian Fern Oglesby. He honorably served in the United States Air Force and worked as an Aircraft Mechanic before retiring. Louis loved racing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed bass fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Katherine McGlon of Summerville, SC, Louis leaves behind his sons, William Lloyd “Billy” Osborn (Jeanette) of Summerville, SC, James Austin McGlon (Denise) of Tampa, FL, and James Francis Osborn III (Kristi) of Bluffton, SC; daughter, Paula Renee McGlon of Jacksonville, FL; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Osborn, William Osborn, Jr., Wyatt Osborn, Travis McGlon, and Michael Gallo. He is predeceased by his parents.
