Maria "Chrisey" Christine Mizzell

Maria “Chrisey” Mizzell, 67, of Round O, SC passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025.

The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation on Friday evening, November 14, 2025 from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted.

Chrisey was born January 16, 1958 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of the late Dan and Marilyn Nevils Mundy. She worked in transportation as a bus driver and enjoyed yard work and hunting. Chrisey loved animals and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her husband, Harold “Gene” Mizzell of Round O, SC; son, John Gilliard (Nikki) of Summerville, SC; daughters, Dannielle Gatch and Trisha Roberson (Clay), both of Summerville, SC; stepsons, Michael Mizzell (Kristen)  and Harold "Bubba" Mizzell of Summerville, SC; brother, Daniel “Bubba” Mundy (Darlene) of Summerville, SC; sister, Kathy Smoak (Herman) of Summerville, SC; twelve grandchildren, CJ, Buddy, Samantha, Colby, Hannah, Ryan, Zach, Kaylee, Christopher, Waylon, Hunter, and Bubby; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Kenny Mundy and a sister, Brenda Cobb.
