Mary Ann Craven

Mary Ann Craven, 70, of Summerville, SC, wife of George Craven, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2025 at 2 o’clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Summerville Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock in the parlor. Flowers are accepted.

Mary was born December 12, 1954 in Summerville, SC, a daughter of the late Hugh Robert Beck and Annie Dora Harrison Beck. She was a homemaker and loved crafting, making jewelry, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Chaparrall Freewill Baptist of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed singing in church and worshipping.

In addition to her husband, George Craven of Jedburg, SC, Mary leaves behind her sons, Donnie Kirk (Kimberly) and Jason Kirk (Johnna), both of Summerville, SC; daughter, Lori Chester (James) of Counce, TN; step-daughter, Nikki Craven Paul (David); brother, Robert Allan Beck of Summerville, SC; sister, Barbara Beck Craven (Junior) of Summerville, SC; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents and grandparents, John D. Harrison and Margaret Johnson Harrison.
