Marylon Cathleen Sue Cox, 81, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 surrounded by family.
The relatives and friends of Marylon are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Sunday afternoon, September 15, 2024 at 1 o’clock in Stallsville United Methodist Church in Summerville. Marylon was born October 10, 1942 in Madison, IN, a daughter of the late William Carlo Taylor and Marcelia Chandler Taylor. She worked for Avis & Hertz as well as past owner of Antiques and Collectibles of Walterboro. She enjoyed needle working, antiquing, and having fellowship with family and friends. She also loved bowling and dancing. Marylon loved watching her son Robbie play baseball and was a huge Atlanta Braves fan.
Marylon leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly Haskell; son, Robert Haskell, Jr. (Betty) and their children, Brent Haskell, Briahna Haskell, Carly Fulton, and Courtney Fulton; daughter, Lisa Tupper (George) and their children, Dustin Tupper (Brittany), Cathleen Charlow (Joseph), Janey Kingsmore (Tyler), and Nathaniel Tupper; daughter, Brenda Jackson (Gene) and their children, Dakota Jackson, Stephen Jackson, and Dylan Jackson (Rachel); stepdaughter, Cindy Olmstead (Shawn) and their children, Camry Olmstead, Lexie Olmstead, and Belle Olmstead; stepson, Jason Cox (Mindy) and their children Corynn Cox and Tyler Cox; stepdaughter, Elisa Parks and her children Sonja Killian, Brittany Clevenger, and Tamara Bates; stepdaughter, Sheryl Bowen and her children Derek Bowen, Nick Bowen, Kyle Bowen, Zach Bowen, and Jake Bowen; stepdaughter, Robin Poole (John) and their children, Amanda Moore and Heather Stockman; a brother, Martin Wood; and many loved greatgrandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Curtis Taylor; and former spouses, Grover Cox, Robert E. Jones, and Robert L. Haskell as well as her uncle Curtis Chandler.
