Matthew Dean Oswald

Matthew Dean Oswald, 39, of Charleston, SC, died Friday, October 30, 2020.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday evening, November 4, 2020 at Knightsville United Methodist Church at 6 o’clock.  

Matt was born on July 8, 1981 in Allentown, PA, a son of the late Dean Forrest Oswald and Terese Price Oswald. He was a sales associate with Food Lion. Matt loved all sports but especially baseball and watching his kids play. He loved to cook and come up with new food ideas.

Survivors include his wife, Annette L. Oswald, of Summerville; his mother and stepfather, Terese Oswald and Jeff Snyder, of Germansville, PA; three sons, Zackary D. Oswald, Noah M. Oswald, Logan A. Oswald; one daughter, Lillian G. Oswald, all of Summerville; one brother, Jeffrey Snyder of Catasaqua, PA; three sisters, Christa Kerrigan (John) of Summerville, Melissa Snyder Kratzer and Amanda Snyder Medellin; his grandparents, Emma Price, Jean Oswald of Allentown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.  Matt was predeceased by his father, Dean Oswald and his grandfathers, Lloyd N. Price and Ernest V. Oswald.
