Matthew Tyler Walker, 30, of Summerville, SC, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 12 o'clock noon at New Life Baptist Church, 149 Mallard Road, Summerville, SC 29483. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted.

Matthew was born October 5, 1990 in Charleston, SC. He worked as an Electrician for Orangeburg County School District. He loved art, fishing, and spending time with his daughter and family.

Matthew is survived by his parents, Donald and Pamela Eckert of Summerville; daughter, Emma Belle Walker of Summerville; brothers, Michael Walker of Cottageville and Keith Eckert of Ridgeville; sister, Rebekah Eckert of Summerville; his girlfriend, Holly Frost; aunts Lorie of North Dakota, Debbie, and Hannah, both of Summerville; grandfather, Tony Vinyets of Florida; niece, Reagan of Cottageville; nephews, Zach and Aaron, both of Cottageville; and sister-in-law, Eva Walker. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Preston and Linda Reeves, Charlie Walker, David Eckert, and Ruth Vinyets; and his cousin, Brandon Harland.
