Meagan Elizabeth Weathers

Meagan Elizabeth Phillips Weathers, 37, of Bonneau passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11 o’clock at Bethany United Methodist Church Spell Chapel, 118 W 3RD S Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will be private. Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made in honor of Meagan directly to her son, Alec.

 Meagan was born on July 15, 1988, in North Charleston, South Carolina, to Theresa Weathers Bognar and the late Daniel E. Weathers, Sr. She was a proud graduate of Fort Dorchester High School, Class of 2006, and later earned her Associate’s Degree in Business from Trident Technical College. Meagan had a creative spirit and found joy in arts and crafts, music, and the comfort of her beloved dogs, with whom she shared a special bond. Known for her kind heart, Meagan was always willing to help others and give of herself whenever someone was in need. Above all else, the greatest love and joy of Meagan’s life was her son, Alec, who meant everything to her.

Meagan is survived by her mother, Theresa Weathers Bognar of Summerville, SC; pops, Randy Bognar of North Charleston, SC; son, Alec Blain of Summerville, SC; brothers, Daniel Weathers (Jennifer) of Union, SC, Dustin Weathers (Dana) of Summerville, SC; sister, Caitlin Smith (Tim) of Moncks Corner, SC; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father, Daniel Weathers, Sr.; grandparents, Oscar and Betty Roumillat, and Tom and Teenie Weathers.
