Melinda “Mindy” Lou Garner, 73, of Summerville passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Mindy was born on December 21, 1951, in Bloomington, IN, to the late Gus and Louella Singleton. She spent 40 wonderful years married to the love of her life, Karl R. Garner, with whom she built a beautiful family. Mindy was a vibrant, full-of-life spirit who embraced every day with joy. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mindy is survived by her loving husband, Karl R. Garner of Summerville, SC; son, Anthony Garner (Teresa) of Summerville, SC, Noah Garner of North Tazewell, VA; daughter, Karly Garner of Summerville, SC; sister, Molly Meadows (David) of Evansville, IN. She is predeceased by her sons, Derek Garner, and Benjamin Garner; brother, Gus Singleton, Jr.; in laws, Bill and Dora Garner; sister in law, Vickie Campbell; and brother in law, Wayne Garner.
