Michael Ryan Urick was a happy five-year-old little boy with autism. Even though he was nonverbal, he communicated through his bright blue eyes. Michael had strawberry blonde hair and a big smile that brought sunshine to all he came across. He loved Disney movies, jumping on trampolines, swimming in the pool, his collection of blankets, and the white clovers that grew from the backyard. Michael was the youngest of his siblings and was a daddy’s boy. He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Madison Urick; his siblings, Gracie LaBombard, Owen White, and Olive Browder. On his paternal side, his grandparent Kim Buchanan and his great-grandparents Nicholas Ellis and Jack Vieira. On his maternal side, his grandmother Tania White; his great-grandparents Joseph White, Sandra White, and Bill McNally. He is also survived by his great aunt Linda Bridges and great uncle Jeff Bridges; his uncle Tanner McNally and aunt Eva Christie; aunt Trinity McNally; uncle Wesley Buchanan; aunt Bishop Venters; and uncle Caleb Venters. He was preceded in passing by his paternal great-grandmother, Louann Ellis; grandfather, Michael Vieira; and maternal grandfather, David McNally, and great-grandmother, Elsa McNally. Michael’s service will be held on May 1st, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West 1st North Street, Summerville, SC. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service. www.parksfuneralhome.com
