Mildred Virginia Vandwaye

Mildred Virginia Vandwaye, 75, wife of the late August Vandwaye, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024.

The relatives and friends of Mildred Vandwaye are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12 Noon, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Parks Funeral Home Chapel, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Flowers will be accepted (yellow was her favorite color).

Mildred was born in Columbia, South Carolina on February 11, 1949. She was the daughter of Jessie and Blanche Cutter. Millie loved spending time with her family. She never missed a game, play or concert that her grandkids were involved in. She created every holiday tradition. She was everyone’s Mawmaw and Miss Millie. Her super power was making everyone feel loved and welcome.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy King (Donnie); sons, Scottie Vandwaye and Kevin Vandwaye; grandkids, Joshua Vandwaye, Tabatha King, Darren Rich, Krystal Frank, Aspen Vandwaye and Tristan King as well as her great grand kids, Asher & Ransom Vandwaye, Bo Frank, Chloe Frank, Eli Rich, Isabella Rich, Oliva Rich, Grayson Pike and Jaxson Beach.
