Milledge Paul Lee, 73, went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2023. Paul had just recently relocated to Hampstead, NC, after being a long-tern resident of Summerville, S.C.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM, on May 6, 2023, at Summerville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
Paul was born on October 24, 1949, in Chester, SC to Milledge Hermen Lee and Eunice Severance Lee, both deceased. Paul graduated from North Charleston High School and attended the Citadel. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, an employee of Westvaco, North Charleston, SC, in the Chemical Division and the Polaris Missile Base in Goose Creek, SC, in, Missile Maintenance but for many years Paul was a General Building Contractor, Building, repairing and restoring homes is what he loved the most.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia (Patti) F. Lee; his devoted son, MSgt. Milledge Paul Lee, Jr. of the United States Marines and two grandchildren, Paxton Milledge Lee and Alice Betty Lee, all of Hampstead, NC. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Michael Lee (Kim) of Rock Hill, SC and William Severance Lee of York, SC; one sister, Ann L. Almers (Floyd) of Summerville, SC; one brother-in-law, Scott Fillmon of San Antonio, TX and one sister-in-law, Linda Marsalkow of Abilene, TX. Paul was part of a huge family with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly. One special cousin, Joseph E. Bell was like a brother to him.
We will always remember Paul as a humble, kind, and generous man who was always ready to help anyone he could along life’s journey. He was a constant student of God’s word which was very important to him so he could walk in the ways of the Lord God.
