Nancy Sue Hundley (nee Bullard), 76 years old, passed away peacefully on September 19th, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Dolores Bullard who preceded her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years William (Bill) Hundley and daughters Jodee Timbers Crews (Anthony) of Ladson, SC and Jacqueline Suzanne Lane (John), of Advance, NC. She was also the loving stepmother of Christopher Hundley, who preceded her in death. She had 6 grandchildren, Patrick, Dylan, Sean, Abby, Joseph, and Brandy. Sadly, Brandy passed away on 16 Sep 2024. She also had 3 great grandchildren Ryland , Alora, and Finley Johnson. She is survived by her siblings Tom Bullard (Jerretta) of Seymour, Indiana, twin brother Dennis Bullard of East Windsor, Connecticut, Robin Toppe (Tim), and Elaine Bullard of Indianapolis, IN. Three brothers also preceded her in death (Michael, Bill, and Jim Bullard) and sisters-in-law Bonnie and Sandy Bullard.
Nancy was a very hard worker all her life and had numerous careers as a waitress, car saleswoman, and auditor and for some time ran a hot dog cart with the help of her son Chris. She was an accomplished seamstress who made drapery and did upholstery in her beautiful home. She lived life to the fullest and never met a stranger. Her dazzling smile, compassion for others, humor, quick wit, and positive outlook always made a big impact on everyone. She loved her pool, the beach, motorcycles, fast cars, and rollercoasters back in the day. She loved plants and had quite the green thumb. Her children were her biggest pride and joy and she raised them to be responsible, caring, and successful adults with the manners of true southern gentility. She loved getting postcards from her sister Robin wherever she travelled and was the best sister in the world. Bill and Nancy always appreciated travel, fireworks, and an excellent surf ‘n turf.
Nancy was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. She was raised in the Baptist faith and loved the Lord; the family is comforted by knowing she is in heaven with her Savior.
A memorial service will likely be held at a future date.
