It is with honor and praise, we announce Norma Jean Maness, 87, of Summerville, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2023, at the graveside at Beaufort National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Bible Society.
Norma Jean was a member of Summerville Baptist Church for 54 years where she also taught first grade Sunday School for 27 years. Norma Jean embodied Proverbs 31, a virtuous woman. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with her as a wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Norman Jean is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Larry Maness; her loving daughters, Cheryl Ann James and Carol Lynn Plum (Gary); 10 loving grandchildren who will miss her smile but find peace knowing she is praising Jesus. She has been blessed with 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
