Patricia Geraldine (Brown) Thompson

Patricia Geraldine Thompson, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, died November 16, 2019 at her home in Goose Creek, SC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, November 17, 2019 at 2 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel in Summerville. Burial will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 o'clock until the time of service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church in Goose Creek.

Patricia was born February 27, 1945 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Curtis Brown and Annie Huff Brown. Patricia was blessed with a large, loving family. She married Jerry Thompson on February 3, 1960. The couple welcomed three children into the world. Jerry was a member of the Air Force and his service moved the family to Tennessee and Texas before settling in Charleston. Patricia and Jerry raised their children in a loving home while passing along strong values to their grandchildren. Patricia was a faithful follower of God and was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Goose Creek for decades.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her daughter, Cathy Chiasson and her husband, Glen; her son, Chris Thompson and his wife, Sharon; her daughter-in-law, Adele Thompson; eight grandchildren; Ashley, Kyle, Christopher, Shelby, Jerry, Brittney, Austin, and Hope; and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Jerry, and her first-born son, Jerry, Jr.
