Philip Wayne Gunter, 45, of Summerville, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon, Monday, July 29, 2024, at Parks Funeral Home, 130 W. 1st North Street, Summerville, SC 29483. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Monday.
Philip was born in Charleston, South Carolina on July 8, 1979. He was the son of Phyllis Craven DeMarco and the late Douglas Franklin Gunter. Philip enjoyed fixing bicycles and working on cars. He was also a tow boat driver and a plumber.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis DeMarco and her husband, Jeff; his wife, Linda Gunter; brother, Vance Gunter; cousins, Donald Borland, Carrie Passmore, Jimmy Craven, Mildred Craven, Patricia Craven, Sharon Craven and many many more Craven cousins. Philip was predeceased by his father, Douglas Gunter; his brother, Jeremy Gunter and his nephews, Wade Alley and Austin Gunter.
